These GTC have been drawn up specifically for the Bike Kingdom Bike Kingdom Testride. These GTC are valid for both natural persons and legal entities (companies). All other points not specifically mentioned here are dealt with in the GTC of Lenzerheide Marketing and Support AG.
Admission to the Bike Kingdom Bike Kingdom Testride is granted to those who can present a valid ticket and official identification. The ticket and ID will be checked at the ticket controls in front of the event site and exchanged for a control wristband. The control wristband must be worn securely on the wrist. Damaged control wristbands that are not worn securely around the wrist do not entitle the holder to use the services. Lost or damaged control wristbands will not be replaced.
Access to the event site will be denied to those who
· Distribute advertising material and/or flyers on the event site without authorisation
· Fail to comply with the instructions of the supervisory and security services.
· Carrying prohibited items and refusing to deposit or dispose of them outside the event site.
· Be abusive towards the supervisory and security staff.
· Starting fights
· Are under the influence of drugs or are excessively intoxicated.
Any misuse of the tickets is prohibited. The purchaser must ensure that his/her ticket is protected against illegal copying, alteration or printing by unauthorised persons. If misuse is detected during admission control, there is a risk of exclusion from the event.
The return or exchange of tickets is generally excluded. If the date or venue is postponed, the ticket is automatically valid for the replacement event. The organiser may announce deviations from this principle in a special publication. Tickets for cancelled events can be returned at face value within 30 days of the announcement of the cancellation. The purchaser's claim for reimbursement is directed exclusively against the organiser and must always be asserted with the organiser. The purchaser is not entitled to a refund of any reservation or dispatch surcharges. After 30 days, the return must be made directly to the organiser.
The instructions of the supervisory and security service must be followed immediately. Failure to comply with access authorisation will be punished and will result in expulsion from the event site.
With the GTC, visitors agree to the terms and conditions of the Bike Kingdom Bike Kingdom Testride and declare their consent to them. The following provisions apply:
1. Visitors who wish to enter the test area and test bikes must purchase a ticket and show an ID on site.
2. All visitors must identify themselves at the registration desk with their ticket/ID and will receive a wristband as a day pass or weekend pass.
3. All visitors agree to the waiver and release of liability of the Bike Kingdom Testride when purchasing their ticket online. Only with this consent will access to the test area and access to the test material be granted.
4. The test tracks are signposted but are neither secured nor monitored/secured by marshals. The general road and traffic regulations apply.
5. Test rides last as long as specified by the exhibitors. Afterwards, the bike will be washed and returned to the stand.
6. Care will be taken of the test material. Visitors are fully liable for damage caused by gross negligence.
7. Exhibitors may apply additional or modified test conditions. They may demand a deposit for the loan of the test material.
8. The organizer, exhibitors, helpers and the rescue team accept no liability for any damage resulting from an accident, theft or transport, unless this is due to gross negligence.
I hereby expressly and irrevocably declare to all Bike Kingdom Testride 2024 exhibitors (according to the official list of the organiser) and the organiser, Lenzerheide Marketing & Support AG and Lenzerheide Bergbahnen based in 7078/Lenzerheide, that I am responsible for my own safety and agree to bear all risks and dangers arising from my participation in the Bike Kingdom Testride and the use of the test material. I release the exhibitors and the organiser from all liability claims, including all claims that I or my heirs or other entitled third parties could assert due to injury, damage or death.
I am aware and agree that during the Bike Kingdom Testride and the associated activities, I am solely responsible for my personal possessions and the test bikes borrowed from the exhibitors Bike Kingdom Testride 2024. I acknowledge that the organisers and exhibitors of the Bike Kingdom Testride and the associated sponsors, partners and authorities accept no liability for personal injury, property damage or financial loss.
As a participant in the Bike Kingdom Bike Kingdom Testride, I undertake to comply with the organiser's regulations and agree to the following points:
1. I am aware that mountain biking, e-biking and road biking are sports that involve risks. I declare that I use the test material exclusively at my own risk and bear sole responsibility for my health, my personal possessions and the test material. I will take care of the test material. I am liable for any loss or damage to the test material.
2. The test routes are signposted, but are neither secured nor monitored by marshals and are not closed to public or private traffic. The general traffic regulations apply.
3. I am insured with an insurance company authorised in Switzerland for legal liability for personal injury and property damage and for an amount appropriate for such an event. I am aware that participation in an event such as the Bike Kingdom Testride makes technical riding demands and hereby confirm that I feel able to test other people's equipment.
4. I expressly agree that I will receive medical treatment during my stay at the Bike Kingdom Testride if this should become necessary in the event of injury due to an accident and/or illness during my visit. I hereby also confirm that I have adequate accident and health insurance.
5. The organiser reserves the right to make changes, interrupt or cancel the event due to force majeure, technical defects of the mountain railways or official requirements. No claims whatsoever can be asserted.
6. I hereby authorise the free and unrestricted use of my photos for reporting purposes, provided this is done in connection with the Bike Kingdom Testride.
With the online ticket purchase and my participation in the Bike Kingdom Testride, I confirm that I have recognised these risks and voluntarily accept them and release the organiser and exhibitor from any liability claims in this regard. Finally, I declare that I have carefully read this waiver in detail and expressly agree with its contents. Any disputes in connection with the Bike Kingdom Testride shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Vaz/Obervaz and Swiss law.
The disclaimer must be agreed to online when purchasing tickets. Only with this consent is ticket purchase and access to the test area possible.
The privacy policy regulations of Arosa Lenzerheide apply.
Notifications must be made in writing by e-mail. This contract shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this contract is Vaz/Obervaz. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of the organiser are an integral part of the contract concluded with the purchase of this ticket.
